
Born in Shenyang, China, Lina Song began her piano studies at the age of five. She has appeared at music festivals around the world, including the Terra Magica Music Festival in Croatia, International Piano & Chamber Music Festival Philippines in Manila, MusicAlp Festival in France, and International Keyboard Institute & Festival in New York.
Ms. Song earned two degrees in Piano Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University: a Bachelor of Music with an honors distinction, under the tutelage of Dr. Winston Choi; and a Master of Music, under the tutelage of Professor Adam Neiman. In recognition of her exceptional academic achievements, she was awarded a Dean’s List distinction, and over the course of her studies, she was selected to participate in master classes with distinguished artists, such as Enrico Elisi, Gabriel Kwok, Martin Katz, Andreas Klein, and Jeni Slotchiver.
Lina Song was serving on the piano faculty of the Bergen Academy of Music and Art from 2016 to 2020. Currently residing in Tenafly NJ, she teaches piano lessons at her home studio and, along with her husband, jointly owns Presto Packaging Solutions, a large-scale manufacturing company. It is her great honor and privilege to become a member of Chicago College of Performing Arts Advisory Board.
